After serendipitously stumbling upon a pile of old slipmats together, Plus’ Jeremy Hollister and street wear designer Jeff Staple were inspired to spark a connection between design and DJ culture.
The idea came to life as A Nice Set. An Art show, DJ nights, an Art book and Merchandise that traveled the world for three years generating revenue, local interest, events and brand alignment opportunities for emerging and established artists. We commissioned artists to develop custom art on DJ turntable slip mats that highlight the interplay and dissolving boundaries between these respective art forms.
The custom tour experience featured the art work of world renowned DJs such as Jamie Lidell, Bobbito Garcia and A-Trak. It attracted taste-making crowds in Tokyo, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Madrid and Melbourne, Singapore, and Shanghai.
