Netflix aims to entertain the world, including families everywhere. Concerns over online safety are a priority for parents globally, with different countries, cultures, and families having different preferences for defining family-friendly content.
Collaborating with the Policy team, our task was to show policymakers, governments, and parents worldwide that Netflix's diverse programming is suitable for all ages.

Leveraging the familiar Netflix Profile Avatar, we created a universal cast of family characters.
Our design system established a base palette of environments that could be nuanced for regional adaptation.
A suite of customisable parental controls, providing more control and flexibility to ensure a safe viewing experience for kids.
