Kiehl’s needed to rethink its approach to seasonal social campaigns to boost brand visibility, increase local market adoption, and drive retail traffic - using no-paid media.
The problem? It’s hard enough to get a beauty buyer’s attention, but during the holidays? Good luck! We knew that the only thing beauty lovers
love more than beauty products are one-of-a-kind beauty experiences.
We developed a four-month seasonal organic social campaign with limited-edition drops, flash sales, giveaways, and street-level retail activations to inspire gifting, drive engagement, and increase foot traffic in stores so Kiehl’s fans could rediscover the joy of giving.
IMPACT
An 18% increase in brick-and-mortar retail sales for the launch holiday campaign.
Kiehl’s first Lunar New Year campaign increased retail sales by 17%, prompting its global expansion the following year.
Our strategy became a global standard for seasonal campaigns.
